Carlson Crossing North, LLC, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from
General
Contractors for Carlson Crossing North/Type 2 Accessible Units, Project no. 2008 for one newly constructed wood framed building: Building C in Framingham, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by EFNArchitects, LLC dated June 25, 2021.

The Project consists of:
 
The construction of (1) new wood framed/slab on grade building consisting of a total of three (3) Group 2A-Handicap Accessible dwelling units constructed on a parcel of land within the Beaver Street Federal Public Housing Development (now known as Carlson Crossing). Building C, consisting of (1) One-Bedroom dwelling unit, (1) Three-Bedroom dwelling unit and (1) Four Bedroom dwelling unit. All (3) dwelling units will comply with Massachusetts Architectural Access Board regulations for Group 2A dwelling units.
 
The work is estimated to cost $1,500,000.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive as well as HUD Davis-Bacon Wage Rates.

As the project will need to close on financing, the Bids should reflect Bidder’s holding their bid price for a period of up to 90 days after the Bid is accepted.

General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work — General Building
Construction
 and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement (Form CQ 3).
 
General Bids will be received until Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM and
publicly opened, forthwith online.

Filed Sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received until Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM and publicly opened, forthwith online. 

Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement.

Kitchen Renovations, Phase III, John J. Brady Drive, in Framingham, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Andrew M. Brockway & Associates.

The project consists of: In 12 kitchens (10 Base Bid, 2 Additive Alternate) in scattered buildings on one site, the abatement and replacement of existing kitchen cabinets, countertop, sink and faucet; prep and painting of walls and ceiling; and upgrades to electrical power and light.

The work is estimated to cost $190,000.
